MI Express is perfect for the student worker who hasn’t had the opportunity for formal training yet.  Whether you are in the trenches or are currently considering student ministry as a career, MI express provides a formal training experience to fit your needs.

MI Express offers short weekend seminars which focus on the most practical aspects of professional student ministry such as staff relations, budgeting, counseling, parent ministry, and more.  MI Express will not focus on the latest games or best bible studies but it will help you with professional skills for youth ministry like organization, development of ministry philosophy, recruiting volunteers, and dealing with committees.

MI Express is offered three times annually and each seminar addresses different aspects of basic, practical, professional student ministry.  A certificate of completion will be issued to those who attend all 3 seminars offered throughout the year.   While MI Express is not intended to replace collegiate or seminary training or valuable "on-the-job" experience, it will give you formal professional training that will enhance your skills and your resume.
